Gordon Food Service started out as a butter-and-egg delivery business more than a century ago. Today, we’re the largest family-owned broadline foodservice distributor in North America—and one of the largest privately held companies in the United States.
We’ve weathered a lot of changes since 1897. We’ve even instituted a fair number of them, leading the industry into new and more efficient ways of doing business. But our values remain the same as those of the 23-year-old entrepreneur who started it all: hard work, reliability, and integrity are the only business practices that really matter.
