My career with Gordon Food Service began when I hired in as a Merchandiser for the store. Then, I was promoted to the role of Assistant Manager so that I can gain the training and experience to become a Store Manager.
Every day is so different and very busy! The things I enjoy most are helping to meet the needs of our customers, and the hands-on opportunities to mentor and guide our employees—that's where I can make a difference each day.
The people are by far the best aspect of my position. As a family-owned company, there is no "high" corporate structure, instead it is a very comfortable relationship between our stores and the headquarters.
It's an amazing company to be part of—and so much opportunity to succeed and grow in your career.
