As Shift Leader, I’m currently in training for future management opportunities. I’m the “manager in charge” when the other managers are not in the store. I began my career with GFS Marketplace as a part-time Sales Associate/Cashier. I was moving to Tennessee and wanted to stay with the company, so I applied for this position and was giving the opportunity. I’m so glad I got to stay with Gordon Food Service!
The people I work with make this such an enjoyable opportunity for me personally. I love to train new employees, making sure they have what they need to be successful in their jobs.
I hope to become an Assistant Manager soon where I can continue to lead our team toward making it an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
