Joined Gordon Food Service: 2008
I joined Gordon Food Service as an Information Systems intern in April of 2008. From the very beginning it was evident that I would be working on "live" projects that would directly impact the business.
Within a few weeks of joining the company, I knew this was a company that would provide opportunities for my future career growth.
Because of the ability to learn and apply my knowledge firsthand, I was given enough experience to make me eligible for a full-time role.
In December of 2008, I was promoted to the position of Associate Software Engineer where I work with others to troubleshoot issues, ensuring that all of our applications are running smoothly.
I make a difference that benefits the end users as well as the team members I work with each day.
I've already been told that there is a bright future for me here, with many opportunities to learn more and gain experience in other areas of the Information Systems department.
