I'm part of the Transportation team for Gordon Food Service. My role is to deliver product directly to our customers, provide outstanding customer service, and to work and drive safely.
I enjoy getting to interact directly with our customers. I am really an extension of the Sales team, but I have the fun part: I actually deliver what they've already sold. While interacting with the customers, I have the chance to take care of any issues, or even to offer additional products or services based on the needs they share with me. I really enjoy building that partnership with our customers.
I hope to continue to move up in my position, and have targeted as my next step the Assistant Transportation Manager role. I one day hope to have the opportunity to be a Transportation Manager, and maybe Director of Transportation.
I'm well-cared for here at Gordon Food Service. The family makes sure that I have great benefits and a culture that is second to none. I truly love working for the Gordons.
