For over 30 years, I've enjoyed being part of this organization. Early on, Paul Gordon opened the door for me to join this amazing organization. It was Paul's example of leadership that inspired me to work hard, build solid relationships, and enjoy those that I work with daily.
Throughout the years I've never really sought out different career options, but over the years I've been given added responsibilities.
I started out as many new Warehouse employees do, as a Selector in the Warehouse. From there the leadership positions were offered to me, first as Supervisor for three different areas. For a while, I had the chance to assist in new improvements as a Process Advisor to our SCM team, and now I'm currently the Director of the Warehouse here in Brighton, MI.
This has been an exciting career for me and I know that my life is forever changed because of this organization, and the life and legacy of Paul Gordon.
I hope to pass along that same type of example to those who I interact with every day. He led the way through compassion, genuine care of others, and excellence in all he did.
What a great legacy to be part of Gordon Food Service. I love being here!
