I began my career with Gordon Food Service as a Mechanic, hoping to one day work in the Refrigeration system—where I am today.
Each day I enjoy working in this positive, team-oriented environment. Working here, I don’t feel like I’m in competition with other people. We are all really focused on working together for a common goal.
Gordon Food Service really encourages you to do the best you can, and you are rewarded for that hard work as well. The company encourages me to improve myself and do the best I can in my job.
Making a difference—making sure that the equipment is running, making improvements where I can, and contributing with new ideas and suggestions to my supervisors helps keep my job more interesting and rewarding.
This year I was given the honor of the Gold Club award. I was really surprised by this, but am grateful to have been rewarded for doing what is most important to me, helping this company succeed.
