Dedicated Nutrition Support
The Nutrition Resource Center at Gordon Food Service is dedicated to providing customers with evidence-based nutrition and food safety information. Our registered dietitians and dedicated support team are here to provide you with the latest nutrition, wellness, and food-safety information. Access numerous nutrition and food service resources and educational materials including:
- In-Service packages: Educational and training tools that address a number of common food service issues including food safety, allergens, customer service, texture modified diets, and diet restrictions.
- Product nutrition and allergen information including lists: Gluten free products, low sodium products, low fat products.
Nutrition Resource Center Webinars
Sign up to participate in one of the webinars below presented by our Nutrition Resource Center (NRC). Staffed by a team of Registered Dietitians, the NRC is an excellent source of information regarding food safety and more, with a wide variety of tools designed to enhance productivity and improve accuracy.
Food Safety Training
These resources drive awareness around topics like internal food-safety and sanitation, foodborne illnesses, cleaning, and much more. In addition, we’ll provide tools like daily logs that make meeting standards and regulations simpler and easier.
ServSafe Certification Classes
ServSafe offers foodservice management customers the chance to put their food safety knowledge and practices to the test against their local, county, and state health requirements. Upon completion, you’ll receive a certification to demonstrate your commitment to your customers and community.
Menu Nutrition Services
We offer a number of innovative tools and services designed to improve the accuracy and transparency of your menu and products, and to stay competitive and in compliance with The Menu Labeling Law of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.
We offer an extensive nutrition database as well as menu and recipe nutrition analysis services readily available exclusively to Gordon Food Service customers.
