Steak Kebab Pita

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. Davis Creek Meats Beef Sirloin Kebab Meat
  • 1/2 c. GFS Pan & Grill Oil
  • 1 tsp. Trade East Savory Steak & Chop Rub
  • 1 ct. Pita Bread
  • 1/4 oz. Markon Ready-Set-Serve Shredded Taco Lettuce
  • 1 oz. Markon Roma Tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 oz. Markon Jumbo Red Onion, diced
  • 1 tsp. Markon Cello Wrapped Parsley, chopped
  • 2 oz. Tzatziki Sauce

Preparation

Wash hands. Wash all fresh, unpackaged produce under running water. Drain well. Place the steak in a stainless-steel mixing bowl. Add the oil and savory steak & chop rub. Mix thoroughly. Place steak pieces on a skewer. Place the skewer on a heated char-grill or broiler. Cook to desired doneness. CCP: Final internal cooking temperature must reach a minimum of 145°F, held for a minimum of 15 seconds. Warm the pita bread on a heated char-grill or broiler. Place the pita bread on a heated serving plate. Place the steak skewer on the bread. Sprinkle with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and chopped parsley. Place the tzatziki sauce in a ramekin and serve next to the pita.
